The Copy Centers Acquires Xerox DigiPath Production Solution

SYRACUSE, NY, December 29, 2000 - - The Copy Centers is constantly striving to enhance productivity and streamlining workflow to provide better service for our customers. The Copy Centers is pleased to announce that we have acquired a Xerox® DigiPath Professional Production system to help us achieve that goal.

The Xerox DigiPath Professional Production system includes the Xerox DigiPath Production Software for digital document management and manipulation and the Xerox DigiPath Scanner.

The Xerox DigiPath Production Software of the system includes a broad set of capabilities like effortless hardcopy input, paper/digital document integration, digital prepress, file storage, and remote printing. These added capabilities to The Copy Centers' workflow will help streamline workflow and provide better overall quality products to our customers. Connected to our network, digital documents can be printed from the DigiPath Production Software to our already existing Xerox DocuTech 6100 Production Publisher or to any other networked printers.

The Xerox DigiPath Scanner, which comes bundled with the DigiPath Production Software, allows The Copy Centers can easily integrate scanned hardcopy with existing electronic documents. With scan speed of 65 images per minutes black and white, support of documents as large as 12" x 18", coupled with the easy-to-use DigiPath Software, our DigiPath Production Solution will provide The Copy Centers power, quality, reliability, and versatility.

The Copy Centers will consider enabling the color scanning feature of the DigiPath Scanner. This will allow The Copy Centers the ability to scan documents in color at a rate of 40+ images per minute. As with black and white documents, scanned color documents can be easily printed from the DigiPath Production Software to existing networked printers.
