Closes Staffed Service Center at Downtown Syracuse, The Copy
Centers Becomes Main Shipping Center.
SYRACUSE,
NY, October 17, 2003 - - FedEx announced the closure of their
staffed shipping center on Warren Street in downtown Syracuse
after approximately two years of operation. This center, along
with The Copy Center's downtown store, are the only staffed
FedEx shipping center is the area. Although there are self-service
FedEx Drop Box throughout the downtown Syracuse area, the
closure of FedEx-owned store means The Copy Center's downtown
location will be the sole staffed FedEx shipping center in
the area.
FedEx
staffed shipping center's last day of operation will be October
17, 2003.
The Copy
Centers downtown store, located at 131 South Salina Street
in Syracuse, NY, began offering FedEx services since June
2003. The number of packages processed by The Copy Centers
downtown has steadily increased during the past few months.
In response to the closing, The Copy Centers downtown has
made arrangements with FedEx and agreed to extend store hours
to handle the expected increase in FedEx packages.
FedEx
customers can expect the same services from The Copy Centers
as they did with FedEx. The Copy Centers downtown offers FedEx
Ground, Express, and International shipping. Both customers
with FedEx account numbers and those without are welcomed.
The Copy Centers offers shipping supplies and will provide
customers with a FedEx package tracking number as their packages
are processed.
The Copy
Centers downtown new hours of operation are Monday through
Friday, from 8AM to 7:30PM. For more information, The Copy
