Copy Centers Adds Xerox Synergix 8830 Engineering Solution
SYRACUSE,
NY, December 15, 2005 - - The Copy Centers is pleased
to announce the completion of the acquistion and installation
of a new wide-format digital solution from Xerox at
its downtown store. The new Xerox XES Synergix 8830
replaces the aging Xerox 3060 as the workhorse for architectural
and engineering prints. The Copy Centers' downtown store,
situated in the heart of downtown Syracuse, have seen
over the past few years an increase in the demand for
wide-format reproduction. With a vast array of businesses
located nearby with specialized need in wide-format
services, The Copy Centers will continue to meet the
demand and to do so with greater quality and speed with
the XES Synergix 8830.
This
installation of the XES 8830 in the downtown location
is the second one added to the list of equipment inventory.
The Copy Centers had previously installed another XES
Synergix 8830 in August 2003 to its campus location
next to Syracuse University. Having had two years of
positive experience with the XES 8830, the decision
was made to upgrade the downtown store with the many
advanced features and quality that comes with the XES
8830 wide-format system.
The
Copy Centers is confident that downtown customers will
be pleased with the quality and performance of this
new addition. The XES 8830 will enable The Copy Centers
to meet the demand of its customers and to further enhance
its digital printing capabilites.

XES Synergix 8830 system is capable of printing and
copying up to 36-inch wide media. The 8830 offers advanced
features such as 400dpi resolution, copy speed of up

the age of digital document distribution, the XES Synergix
8830 also supports direct scanning of wide-format documents
to three industry standard file formats. Supporting
TIF, JPG, and PDF file formats, the 8830 allows large
documents to be digitize for easy archiving, distribution,
and viewing on virtually any computer.
