The
Copy Centers Complete Full Integration of B&W Digital
Presses
SYRACUSE,
NY, July 7, 2006 - - The Copy Centers is excited to
announce today that the conversion of their black-and-white
analog copiers to full digital presses is complete.
For the past few months, The Copy Centers has been working
with Canon and IKON on fully upgrading the remaining
analog B&W copiers to digital B&W presses and
upgrading existing digital B&W presses to newer
and faster models.
The
Copy Centers is now fully digital in both areas of black-and-white
and color document production. The advantages with this
'all digital' conversion includes, faster turnaround,
better print quality, improved equipment reliability
and streamlined workflow.
This
recent upgrade replaced the remaining Xerox 5690 and
two Xerox 5100s analog copiers with two Canon ImageRunner
8500 and one ImageRunner 550 B&W digital presses.
The integration of these digital presses fullfills The
Copy Centers goal of going 'all digital.' All legacy
equipment have been removed from the list of active
equipment and are now flagged as 'end of life.' The
Copy Centers plan on on moving these legacy equipment
to a local recycling facility or sold to third-parties
to be used for parts.
The
full integration of digital presses into the B&W
document workflow illustrates the commitment of The
Copy Centers to provide its customers with the latest
in document services the market has to offer and to
maintain its leadership position in the area for document
services.
