The
Copy Centers Offer More Superb Color Documents With
New Oil-Free Digital Press
SYRACUSE,
NY, October 20, 2006 - - The Copy Centers is pleased
to announce that acquistion of an IKON CPP 500 oil-free
toner digital color press was completed this week. The
CPP 500 utilitize a new oil-free toner technology recently
introduced into the industry. Oil-free toners produce
documents with a smoother, glossless and more natural
color.
The
few customers who so far have seen documents produced
on the new CPP 500 are quite pleased with the result.
Solid colors are more rich and bold and oil streaks
sometimes found with oil-based toners are practically
non-existent with CPP 500.
The
Copy Centers has designated the IKON CPP 500 as the
new workhorse for high-production color documents. Customers
can expect to see improved color quality without any
increase in turnaround time or cost. The Copy Centers
have been in business for over two decades, and can
say from experience that that the CPP 500 is the first
digital press its seen that can deliver accurate color
with high speed, high consistency and high reliablity.
Although the print speed of the CPP 500 is the same
as The Copy Centers' previous workhorse, the Canon Z5000,
of 50 pages per minute, the turnaround time is expected
to improve. The Copy Centers attribute the increase
production performance by the increase reliablity of
the CPP 500 and its capability to handle more heavier
weight paper stock at maximum output speed.
The
IKON CPP500 is a great additional to The Copy Centers'
line of digital presses. The CPP 500 uses the latest
in toner technology and allows The Copy Centers to continue
forging ahead in maintaining its technological superiority
in Central New York.
