In today's
fiercely competitive business world, visual product impact
plays a vital part in influencing customer buying decisions.
Companies are becoming increasingly aware of the advantages
of incorporating special finishes to enhance the appearance
of their products.
Embossing
creates a raised image on paper, while debossing creates an
indented image. When a paper stock is pressed between two
dies, the dies' image is pressed into the stock. Embossing
can stand on its own (called bind embossing) or it can be
coupled with foil stamping to create a dramatic raised effect.
Typically, heavy paper stock in the range of 80# to 100# can
enhance the depth and intricacy of the image.
