Scoring
and Slitting

A score
is a flat die that merely puts an impression (a crease) in
the paper to ensure easy and accurate folding. It is generally
only used on thicker stocks and help prevents "cracking"
of the stock. If your project consists of heavier card stock
and it needs to be folded, we suggest to have it scored. Scoring
does not damage the ink or paper. The Copy Centers can design
almost any score, but generally they all are composed of straight
lines.
